Such a real article. I have always told my daughters, their lovely pets will not learn English, so you will have to learn dog, cat, Guinnea pig, etc. I tell them, Miss Furly(cat) is 18yrs old now and cannot say a word of English, you would think after 18 years of always being around us, they would pick up something. And then, after spending 18yrs with her, all I know is she likes cuddles and when she is hungry, that's it, I also have made effort to speak cat. In the mornings before I leave for work, I ask all the home pets what their plans are for the day ahead, all I get are blank stares, so they obviously live in the now, and take each day as it comes. That must be why they are always happy, because they live in the now, not focusing on their past, or worried about their future.
Wayne, it's good to see you around these parts. Thanks for reading, dude!
I have a feeling a cat might join the dog and I at some point. I've never had my own, but I would like to learn their language.
I talk to my dog all the time too. It cracks me up. I just assume some level of him understand everything and his dog brain retains the nuggets that work in our now together.
Thanks Sean, I am always talking to the closest animal around, just making conversation. At least no one can say I am ignoring them, they may say I'm nuts though. Keep well Sean.
Thanks, now I’m going to spend the rest of the day thinking about what the “pooping on the street” equivalent of humans is to higher dimensional beings.. higher dimensional beings be like “that’s a good dooky, boy, good job!” every time we relieve ourselves of self-importance 💩
This week’s post reminds me of two teachings, from Pythagoras and Ra.
Pythagoras: “Consciousness sleeps in stone, dreams in plants, wakes up in animals and becomes self-aware in humans.” 🤯
Ra teaches that the reincarnation process is a system of “love gathering,” for the purpose of evolving consciousness. Ra says that pets are given love (attention, direction, companionship) by humans which propels their evolution more than the animals in the wild. Basically, it’s a boost in conscious evolution to live a life as a pet because humans are great teachers whether they’re petty tyrants or loving masters.
On a cosmic level why do humans have pets? Maybe it’s exactly as you wrote, to practice and be exposed to “unconditional love.”
It really does make me wonder how that relationship exists higher up in the chain! Thank you again for serving up another tasty morsel of wisdom.
Haha, yeah. I was thinking, "am I really going to go there?" So I went for it.
It's funny you bring up Ra because some of the ideas in this article came to me when reading the Law of One Series a couple years ago. Spot on, dude. As always!
I think all relationships are learn/teach & teach/learn simultaneously and that is one element which makes life precious. (Another Law of One concept.) Always something to share & gain whenever we talk with anyone, including animals.
Good 'Ol Socrates said it best...
"The wise man learns from everything and everyone, the ordinary man learns from his experience, and the fool knows everything better."
I’m glad you put it in. Anything that sparks thoughts about the infinite density levels within an infinite stream of octaves is fine by me.
I stumbled upon the Ra materials a couple of years ago as well. It really spoke to me — lit up the spaces within that could hardly be touched by the physical, rational sciences. Opened the door to hermetics and many other materials.
I agree with you about the teacher/learner dynamic - it becomes more obvious the more I experience my relationships with people, animals and things. What I like about it right now is that I don’t have to try.. following my gut moves my body and allows words to flow. My brain has been humbled and now gives a wide birth to that magic.
Socrates is such a G. Hermes T. may have put down the Greeks for their verbose, and often pompous culture, but they doled out some serious wisdom even though they were so intellectually indulgent.
